Brave Taxi Driver Stops Armed Robbery at Darkuman After MoMo Vendor Attack

Instead of driving away, the taxi driver rammed his vehicle directly into the fleeing suspects, causing them to fall and halting their escape. One of the men was quickly overpowered by nearby residents and arrested; the other managed to slip away in the confusion.

The stolen money was recovered and handed to police, who are continuing investigations to apprehend the escaped suspect. While the driver’s swift action prevented further harm, it came at a cost — his taxi’s front bumper was badly damaged during the rescue.

Since the incident, calls have spread across social media and news outlets urging support for the driver, whose car is his livelihood and now needs repair after he risked everything to protect the community.
