Brave Taxi Driver Stops Armed Robbery at Darkuman After MoMo Vendor Attack

  In a dramatic turn of events at Darkuman , Accra , a taxi driver became a local hero after stopping an armed robbery in broad daylight. Two suspects had just attacked a mobile money vendor , making off with GH¢7,700, when the driver — witnessing the crime — chose to intervene.   Instead of driving away, the taxi driver rammed his vehicle directly into the fleeing suspects, causing them to fall and halting their escape. One of the men was quickly overpowered by nearby residents and arrested; the other managed to slip away in the confusion.  The stolen money was recovered and handed to police , who are continuing investigations to apprehend the escaped suspect.
